Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company's second production of the 2017-18 season, Nothing to Lose (But Our Chains), is set to open tonight and run through December 31.

Felonious Munk's new play is Woolly Mammoth's latest collaboration with the Second City. Directed by Anthony LeBlanc, Nothing to Lose stars Munk himself in addition to Angela Alise, McKenzie Chinn, Calvin Evans, and Odinaka Ezeokoli. The creative team includes Mick Napier (consultant), Colin K. Bills (lighting and set design), Robert Croghan (costume design), Jesse Case (sound design and original music), and Jaci Entwisle (stage manager).

Nothing to Lose (But Our Chains), according to a press release, "tells the hilarious and harrowing story of how one Black man went from six years in a state prison to a six-figure job in corporate America to a new life as an activist and satirist. Performed by Felonious and a cast of Chicago’s sharpest comedians, the latest installment in the long-running partnership between Woolly and the Second City will combine sketch, stand-up, and music to remind us that true freedom comes only from within."
