An Octoroon, Familiar Set for Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company Season

Washington D.C.'s Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company has announced its 2017-18 season.

The season will kick off with Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' An Octoroon, directed by Nataki Garrett. It will run July 18-August 6. Next up is Max Frisch's The Arsonists, directed by Michael John Garcés. In a new translation by Alistair Beaton, it runs September 5-October 8.

The Second City's Nothing to Lose (But Our Chains) follows November 11-December 31, under the direction of Billy Bungeroth. Danai Gurira's Familiar is up after that, running February 5-March 4. Adam Immerwahr directs.

The Ars Nova production of Jennifer Kidwell and Scott R. Sheppard's Underground Railroad Game runs April 4-29, featuring Lightning Rod Special. Taibi Magar directs. The season closes with Jordan Tannahill's Botticelli in the Fire, running May 28-June 24, with Marti Lyons directing.
