Tony Award-winning playwright Terrence McNally and his partner, Tom Kirdahy were married in a ceremony held in Washington, DC on Tuesday, April 6.
McNally has won Tony Awards for his plays Master Class and Love! Valour! Compassion! and his books for the musicals Ragtime and Kiss of the Spider Woman. His other plays include Deuce, Lips Together, Teeth Apart, The Ritz, Frankie and Johnny at the Claire de Lune, and Some Men.
His work is currently featured at the Kennedy Center’s Terrence McNally’s Nights at the Opera, which includes his newest play Golden Age and productions of Master Class and The Lisbon Traviata.
Kirdahy is an attorney and Broadway producer. Among his credits are the play Deuce and the recent revival of Ragtime.
