Venk Potula is a sophomore Theater, Film, and Television student specializing in acting at UCLA. Raised in Atlanta GA, Venk started performing on stage when he was 12 and enjoys comedic film acting and commedia dell'arte. Outside of theater, he likes to play chess, paint, produce music, and write his own stand-up acts. He is involved with UCLA's Rapid-Fire Improv group and he owns his own production company: Khrisp Productions. Venk’s inspirations and influences are Will Smith, Jim Carrey, Shakespeare, Ravi Teja, and Uta Hagen. One of his goals is to break the common stereotype casting for Asian Indian-Americans in film. He is enthusiastic about working with TheaterMania University and looks forward to writing about his artistic experience at UCLA.
