Mart Crowley's 1968 comic drama The Boys in the Band is preparing to celebrate its 50th anniversary on Broadway with performances set to run from April 30-August 12 at the Booth Theatre.

Directed by two-time Tony winner Joe Mantello, The Boys in the Band revolves around a group of gay men who gather in a Manhattan apartment for a friend's birthday party. The star-studded cast features Charlie Carver, Jim Parsons, Zachary Quinto, Matt Bomer, Andrew Rannells, Robin De Jesús, Brian Hutchison, Michael Benjamin Washington, and Tuc Watkins, all of whom gathered for a photo shoot in advance of the landmark play's return to the stage. Hear from the ensemble as they look back on the play's 50-year history and admire how far we've come, while acknowledging how far we still have to go.
