The Tony Awards themselves will be presented on June 10.
On Tuesday, May 1, 8:30am, at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, Leslie Odom Jr. (Hamilton) and Katharine McPhee (Waitress) will announce the nominations for this year's Tony Awards, which will take place at Radio City Music Hall on June 10.
Also in attendance at the announcement will be David Henry Hwang, chairman of the American Theatre Wing; Heather Hitchens, president and CEO of the American Theatre Wing; Thomas Schumacher, chairman of the Broadway League; and Charlotte St. Martin, president of the Broadway League.
The official eligibility cutoff date will be Thursday, April 26, 2018, for all Broadway productions opening in the 2017-18 season. Productions that meet all other eligibility requirements and open on or before the 26th are considered eligible for 2018 Tony Award nominations.
