Melissa Benoist Previews Upcoming Run on Broadway in Beautiful

Melissa Benoist, star of the CW's Supergirl, will make her Broadway debut on June 7 as Carole King in Broadway's Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. On June 6, Benoist took to the stage of the Stephen Sondheim Theatre to perform for the press and preview her run.

In addition to her starring role on Supergirl, Benoist also recently starred in the six-part event series Waco, based on the true story of the 51-day standoff in Waco, Texas. She first became known to musical and television fans with her starring role as Marley Rose on seasons 4 and 5 of Fox's hit show Glee.

Benoist will play a limited run through August 4, with long-running star Chilina Kennedy returning to the role later that month.
