Based on the James M. Cain novel, Mildred Pierce focuses on a proud mother (Kate Winslet) fighting for the love of her daughter (Evan Rachel Wood). The series also features stage veterans Hope Davis, Melissa Leo, Brian F. O’Byrne, and Mare Winningham, along with Guy Pearce, James LeGros, and Morgan Turner.
