Tony Award-winner Bernadette Peters rang the Closing Bell of the NASDAQ Stock Market on Friday, July 13 in honor of Broadway Barks!, which will take place on July 14.
Peters, co-founder of the Broadway Barks organization, was joined by members of the ASPCA to close the day’s exchange.
The Broadway Barks! adopt-a-thon will take place in Shubert Alley from 3:30pm to 6:30pm. Peters will be on hand to sign copies of her books Broadway Barks and Stella is a Star, as well as the new Broadway Barks! calendar, at noon.
