Richard Rodgers Award winners Carner & Gregor are holding an online casting contest for five individuals to join their line-up for the Barely Legal Showtune Extravaganza, to be held at Drom on July 25. In addition to Carner & Gregor’s work, this concert will also feature the work of Kleban and Ebb Award winner Pete Mills and will be directed by Marlo Hunter.
The contest is open to high school and college students, with college graduates from spring 2011 also eligible. To enter, singers should submit a video of their performance of a Carner & Gregor song. The sheet music for six songs will be offered to contest entrants for free by emailing: candgmusic@gmail.com. The deadline for submissions is June 17.
