New York City
The musical parody by Marla Mindelle, Constantine Rousouli, and Tye Blue features the music of Celine Dion.
Producers Tye Blue and Venture Hill Entertainment have announced that Titanique: In Concert — a musical parody of the 1997 hit film Titanic, featuring the songs of pop icon Celine Dion — will come to New York this summer for three concert performances at the Green Room 42.
In this comedic musical experience, Dion casually rewrites history by recounting her interpretation of what happened aboard the Titanic. Backed by a full band and musical arrangements of such hits as "My Heart Will Go On," "Power of Love," "It's All Coming Back to Me Now," "Because You Loved Me," and "I'm Alive," the quick-witted cast of Titanique: In Concert features Broadway favorites Marla Mindelle (Sister Act) as Dion, Constantine Rousouli (Wicked) as Jack Dawson, and Alex Ellis (Thoroughly Modern Millie) as Rose DeWitt Bukater, alongside Emmy nominee Stephen Guarino (Showtime's I'm Dying Up Here), Sebastian La Cause (The Rocky Horror Show), Kathy Deitch (Wicked), Adam Zelasko (Jersey Boys), and Mikhail Thompson.
This spring, Titanique: In Concert earned extensive critical acclaim for its sold-out Los Angeles engagements. As the show makes its way to NewYork, all of the infamous moments from the movie will be called out.
Titanique: In Concert will play August 25-27 at 9:30pm at the Green Room 42.
