James Taylor Odom and Blake Price will headline the show on its North American tour.
A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder has announced the full cast and dates for the upcoming 2017-18 national tour of the Tony Award-winning musical. James Taylor Odom will play the eight D'Ysquith heirs and Blake Price will play Monty Navarro.
The rest of the cast includes Colleen McLaughlin (Sibella Hallward), Erin McIntyre (Phoebe D’Ysquith), Timothy Aaron Cooper, Ashton Michael Corey, Mia Fitzgibbon, Colleen Gallagher, Briana Gantsweg, Kristen Kane, Tyler Lenhart, Conor McGiffin, Ryne Nardecchia, and Rosie Webber.
The tour will begin with performances at Clemens Center in Elmira, New York, September 27-28, and conclude at Mother Lode Theater in Butte, Montana, on May 13, 2018, with stops at venues such as Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown, New Jersey, and Thrasher-Horne Center for the Arts in Orange Park, Florida, along the way.
Winner of four Tonys in 2014, including Best Musical, A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder tells the story of Monty Navarro, who has received the news that he is descended from a noble family and could become the next Earl of Highhurst. There are only eight issues standing in his way: the heirs (all played by James Taylor Odom) who precede him in line for the title. What does Monty choose to do? Eliminate them, of course. The production features a book and lyrics by Robert L. Freedman and music and lyrics by Steven Lutvak.
