Tony Award winner Alan Cumming will host Live Out Loud’s ninth annual Young Trailblazers Benefit Gala, to be held on April 26 at the Chelsea Art Museum. The event and performance will culminate with the presentation of four $2500 scholarships to high school seniors who have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills.
Cumming won the Tony Award for Cabaret. He will soon be seen on the big screen in Julie Taymor’s adaptation of The Tempest and is slated to play the Green Goblin in the upcoming Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark, to be directed by Taymor. In addition, it was recently announced that Cumming would become a series regular on CBS’ The Good Wife.
Live Out Loud is a non-profit dedicated to connecting lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) youth with role models and leaders in the LGBT community.
