Now in previews at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre, Beautiful, a musical chronicle of the life and career of songwriting legend Carole King, is set to open on Sunday, January 12.

Tony nominee Jessie Mueller (The Mystery of Edwin Drood) stars as King (or Klein as she was called in her younger years) alongside Jake Epstein (Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark) as her husband and songwriting partner Gerry Goffin, and Anika Larsen (Unbroken Circle) and Jarrod Spector (Jersey Boys) as their friends and fellow songwriters Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann.

The musical features a book by Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Douglas McGrath (Bullets Over Broadway), direction by Marc Bruni (The Explorers Club), and songs written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King, as well as numbers by Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil.

Take a look at the cast onstage as they perform some of King's greatest hits, including "So Far Away," "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman," "I Feel the Earth Move," and many more.
