Bryce Pinkham will take a temporary leave of absence to appear in ”The Heidi Chronicles”.
Broadway's A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder has announced that original ensemble member and Bryce Pinkham understudy Jeff Kready will take over the role of Monty Navarro when Bryce Pinkham takes a temporary leave of absence to costar in the limited Broadway engagement of Wendy Wasserstein's The Heidi Chronicles. Kready will officially step into the role at the Walter Kerr Theatre beginning on January 20.
A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder also stars Tony Award winner Jefferson Mays, Lisa O'Hare, Catherine Walker, and Carole Shelley, with Pamela Bob, Sandra DeNise, Joanna Glushak, Greg Jackson, Eddie Korbich, Jeff Kready, Mark Ledbetter, Jennifer Smith, Kathy Voytko, and Price Waldman.
A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder tells the story of Monty Navarro, who has received the news that he is descended from a noble family and could become the next Earl of Highhurst. There are only eight issues standing in his way: the other heirs (all played by Jefferson Mays) who precede him in line for the title. What does Monty choose to do? Eliminate them, of course. The production features a book and lyrics by Robert L. Freedman and music and lyrics by Steven Lutvak.
