The Vineyard Theatre will open its 2015-16 season with the musical comedy Gigantic, running from November 11-December 20, with an official December 3 opening.

Directed by Scott Schwartz, the musical features a book by Randy Blair and Tim Drucker, lyrics by Randy Blair, music by Matt roi Berger, and choreography by Chase Brock. The show tells a story of adolescent growing pains through the experiences of misfit teens who have been sent to Camp Overton, the No. 3 weight-loss camp in Southern Pennsylvania. An earlier version of Gigantic was presented in development at the New York Musical Theatre Festival in 2009 with the title Fat Camp, where it received the "Best of Fest Award."

In June 2016, the Vineyard Theatre will present a members-only developmental lab of Christopher Chen’s You Mean to Do Me Harm. Described as "a psychological exploration of China-U.S. foreign relations and of the mysteries of the personal relationships we hold most dear," the fantastical play follows the aftermath of an innocuous comment at a dinner with two interracial couples.

As previously announced, the 2015-16 season will also include Colman Domingo's new play Dot, directed by Tony winner Susan Stroman, and the New York premiere of Pulitzer Prize winner Paula Vogel's Indecent, directed by Rebecca Taichman.

Casting for Gigantic, Dot, and Indecent will be announced at a later date.
