New York City
The show begins performances tonight at the Charles Mosesian Theater.
New Repertory Theatre's presentation of Caryl Churchill's drama A Number starts tonight. Clay Hopper directs.
An exploration of nature versus nurture, the show centers on a son who finally confronts his emotionally distant father. In doing so, he discovers a horrible secret about his past, uncovering a disturbing incident involving a number of "others." Anger and abandonment combine and come to a head as the father and son confront the concepts of individuality and identity.
The production features Nael Nacer as Bernard 1, Bernard 2, and Michael Black, and Dale Place as Salter.
Performances will run through November 1.
