The long-running Broadway musical will be featured on the competition series’ next episode.
The next episode of Lifetime's hit competition series Project Runway All Stars, now in its fourth season, will enter the land of Oz. Contestants will be challenged to create couture garments inspired by themes of Wicked as well as by Susan Hilferty's Tony Award-winning designs of the hit Broadway musical.
The episode was filmed at the production's home at the Gershwin Theatre, giving the show's pregnant host, Alyssa Milano, an opportunity to enter in Glinda's iconic bubble.
Christine Dwyer and Jenni Barber, Wicked's current Elphaba and Glinda, make an appearance in the episode to explain the challenge to the competing designers. The winning garment will be on display in the Gershwin lobby beginning Friday, November 14, and will remain there through the end of the year.
