The Underbelly Diaries, a solo show written by and starring Aaron Berg, will be presented at the Studio Theatre on Theatre Row, March 22-April 7, before touring Canada. The show will be directed by Dwight McFee.
The piece, which has previously been seen in Toronto and California, tells the true story of Berg, the son of a prominent Jewish family who became a steroid-addicted bodybuilder, a male stripper, and a stud for hire for men and women, before becoming a film actor and comedian.
Berg’s film and television credits include The Boondock Saints 2, The Lookout, The Ladies Man, Rookie Blue, Flashpoint, Skin, and Warehouse 13.
