The NYMF developmental reading of For Tonight, which will run for three performances, July 9 & 12, at The Studio Theatre, has announced full casting. The new original musical was created by Shenelle Williams, Spencer Williams, and Whitney Rhodes. Joe Barros directs.
For Tonight is based on the life of the writer's great-great-great-grandfather in the 1830s in Northern Wales. The musical features an indie-rock inspired score and focuses on themes of "love, family, and acceptance."
The plot follows Thomas, Haydon, and Nettie, three children forced to fend for themselves when their parents die of a mysterious illness. Haydon soon heads off to Liverpool with his guitar to find what the world has to offer.
The cast features Adam Theodore Barry, Hannah Berggren, Sean Buhr, Heather Botts, Colin Critchley, Patrick Dunn, Hannah Elless, Brandon Kalm, Kate Moore, Steely Nash, C.J. Pawlikowski, and Krista Pioppi.
