The scribe of ”Elf” and ”The Wedding Singer” previews the new musical in the show’s latest making-of video.
To Broadway audiences, Chad Beguelin is best known as the Tony-nominated book writer and lyricist of the short-lived (but cult favorite) musical The Wedding Singer, as well as the holiday show Elf. This spring, Beguelin returns to Broadway as the author and co-lyricist of Aladdin, the stage adaptation of the classic Disney film. In the latest entry into the production's making-of video series, Beguelin chats about his work on the new musical and how this show has the potential to surprise everyone — even the film's ardent fans.
