Alexandra Silber and Max von Essen Set to Star in Murder on the Orient Express

Emily Mann directs Ken Ludwig’s adaptation of Agatha Christie’s story for McCarter Theatre Center, beginning tonight.

Murder on the Orient Express begins performances tonight at McCarter Theatre Center.

Adapted by Ken Ludwig from Agatha Christie's novel, Murder on the Orient Express is described as follows, "The exotic Orient Express is about to go off the rails! With a locomotive full of suspects and an alibi for each one, it’s the perfect mystery for detective Hercule Poirot, n’est-ce pas?"

Sorola (About Heroes) as Hector MacQueen, Samantha Steinmetz (Bedlam’s Sense & Sensibility) as Greta Ohlsson, Max von Essen (An American in Paris) as Samuel Ratchett and Col. Arburthnot, and Evan Zes (Incident at Vichy) as Monsieur Bouc.

The creative team features Tony Award-winning designers Beowulf Boritt (sets), William Ivey Long (costumes), Ken Billington (lighting), and Darron L. West (sound).

Performances continue through April 2.
