The Broadway revivals of All My Sons and The Seagull have both announced that they have recouped their investments.
All My Sons‘ $3.25 million capitalization is the highest capitalization of a commercial play ever to be recouped. The production — directed by Simon McBurney and starring John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest, Patrick Wilson, and Katie Holmes — is set to end its limited engagement at the Gerald Schonfeld Theatre on January 11.
The Royal Court Theatre’s production of The Seagull — directed by Ian Rickson and starring Kristin Scott Thomas and Peter Sarsgaard — will conclude its engagement on December 21 at the Walter Kerr Theatre.
