An Out-of-This-World Preview of Ethan Lipton's New Musical The Outer Space

Ethan Lipton's new musical The Outer Space opens at Joe's Pub on March 8. Directed by Tony nominee Leigh Silverman, the show follows two human beings who buy an old spaceship, leaving the noise, pollution, and overpriced rents of Earth for the vast beauty and treacherous terrain of the final frontier. Lipton, who wrote book and lyrics, stars alongside Vito Dieterle, Eben Levy, and Ian Riggs, who also contributed musical material for the show. Get a taste below.
