Ana Gasteyer to Join Fox's A Christmas Story Live!

Ana Gasteyer will join the company of Fox's A Christmas Story Live! Gasteyer will take on the role of Mrs. Schwartz, the mother of one of Ralphie's friends.

The three-hour live television event is inspired by the holiday classic feature A Christmas Story and Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, and Joseph Robinette's Tony Award-nominated Broadway production A Christmas Story: The Musical. Set to air on December 17, it is directed and executive produced by Scott Ellis. Marc Platt and Adam Siegel will executive-produce, with Jonathan Tolins and Robert Cary serving as coexecutive producers and writers.

The company includes Andy Walken as Ralphie, Maya Rudolph as Ralphie's mother, Matthew Broderick as the narrator, Jane Krakowski as Miss Shields, and Chris Diamantopoulos as the Old Man.
