Gasteyer will bring her act to Washington, D.C.
Stage and screen favorite Ana Gasteyer will bring her act to Arena Stage's Mead Center for the American Theater on Monday, May 9.
An Evening With Ana Gasteyer will serve as the centerpiece for the evening, which will also include the inaugural presentation of the Beth Newburger Schwartz Award. Named in honor of Arena Stage's Board Chair, the award will be presented annually to a female leader who strives to better the community in which she lives through her own unique strengths and talents.
Gasteyer recently starred on the ABC’s hit comedy The Goldbergs, Fox's The Mindy Project, HBO's Girls, and CBS' The Good Wife. She is best known for her years on Saturday Night Live. Her Broadway credits include roles in Threepenny Opera, The Royal Family, and Wicked, as Elphaba. Most recently, she appeared on the New York stage as mother to Jonathan Groff in William Finn and James Lapine's A New Brain.
