Andy Mientus, Larry Owens, and Krystina Alabado Will Star in Tick, Tick…Boom!

The Cape Playhouse will kick off its 97th summer season in June with the musical tick, tick…Boom! by Tony Award-winning composer Jonathan Larson (Rent). Directed by recently appointed artistic director Eric Rosen in his inaugural season, tick tick…Boom! will feature Andy Mientus (Spring Awakening, Smash), Larry Owens (A Strange Loop, Abbott Elementary), and Krystina Alabado (American Idiot, Hazbin Hotel) and will run June 5-June 15 at the Cape Playhouse in Dennis, Massachusetts.

Rosen first directed this production of Larson’s semi-autobiographical rock musical at Bucks County Playhouse in 2023. The production features choreography by Paul McGill, musical direction by Andy Roninson, scenic design by Jack Magaw, costume design by Devario Simmons, lighting design by Paul Miller, sound design by Jeff Sherwood, and video design by Stivo Arnoczy.

The Cape Playhouse season will continue with Million Dollar Quartet, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Waitress, and The 39 Steps.
