Conor McPherson’s drama is revived by Irish Repertory Theatre.
The Irish Repertory Theatre production of Conor McPherson's Shining City celebrated its opening night on June 9. The production is directed by Ciarán O’Reilly and stars two-time Tony winner Matthew Broderick.
Set in Dublin, the play recounts the visits of a widower John (Broderick) to a therapist, claiming he has seen his dead wife in their house. The Irish Rep cast also features Billy Carter as Ian, Lisa Dwan as Neasa, and James Russell as Laurence.
The production's has set design by Charlie Corcorcan, costume design by Martha Hally, lighting design by Michael Gottlieb, original music by Ryan Rumery, and props by Sven Henry Nelson.
