The ”Beautiful” star performed songs from her new album ”Sing You to Sleep”.
Anika Larsen may be on maternity leave from Beautiful — The Carole King Musical, but that didn't stop her from putting on a solo show at Birdland to celebrate the release of her debut solo album, Sing You to Sleep. The album consists of lullabies and easy-listening songs that are meant to relax and soothe. Larsen also included a few lively numbers in her concert, as she was joined by Beautiful costars Jessie Mueller and Jarrod Spector, as well as former Xanadu costar Kenita Miller. With Larsen's husband, Freddie Maxwell, on trumpet, and even a duet with her five-year-old nephew, the evening was filled with laughter, tears, and some great music.
