Taylor stars as late Texas Governor Ann Richards in the bioplay, which is based on video coverage, interviews, and reams of Richards’ personal and public papers at the University of Texas. Her many stage credits include the original productions of Butley and The Cocktail Hour. She won an Emmy Award for her performance on TV’s The Practice and appeared for a number of years on the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men.
The creative team includes scenic design by Michael Fagin, costume design by Julie Weiss, lighting design by Matthew Richards, sound design by Ken Huncovsky, projection design by Zachary Borovay, and wig design by Paul Huntley.
