Annie Baker's The Flick Comes to Steppenwolf Theatre

Steppenwolf Theatre has released photos from its production of Annie Baker's The Flick. Performances will run through May 8.

The drama follows Sam, Rose, and Avery, three underpaid employees working at a run-down movie house called The Flick. As one of the last theaters in Massachusetts still projecting 35mm films, it gives Avery the opportunity to experience the art form he loves, even if it means sweeping up stale popcorn. As the three spend time together debating cinema, their bonds are tested by what it is they actually need from each other.

Directed by Dexter Bullard, the cast features Will Allan, Danny McCarthy, Caroline Neff, and Travis Turner.
