Anything Goes, Big Fish, Jekyll & Hyde Part of Broadway In Chicago 2013 Spring Season

Broadway In Chicago has announced the productions set to be part of the 2013 spring season lineup.

The season will kick off with the pre-Broadway engagement of Jekyll & Hyde (March 12-24), in which Jeff Calhoun will direct this Frank Wildhorn and Leslie Bricusse musical, starring Constantine Maroulis and Deborah Cox. Next up will be Broadway favorites Priscilla Queen of the Desert (March 19-31) and Terrence McNally, Marc Shaiman, and Scott Wittman’s Catch Me if You Can (April 2-14).

The season will also feature the previously reported world premiere of Big Fish (April 2-May 5), a musical based on the novel by Daniel Wallace and the Columbia Pictures film, directed and choreographed by Susan Stroman, with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and a book by John August. Tony Award winner Norbert Leo Butz is set to star.

Finally, Broadway In Chicago will present Anything Goes (April 23-May 5), Cole Porter’s first-class musical comedy, starring Rachel York and directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall.

Off-season special’s will include Potted Potter (beginning November 13), American Idiot (April 16-21), and West Side Story (June 11-16)
