Best known for her quirky sense of style and painfully off-pitch yet abundantly confident performances, Miranda Sings (aka Colleen Ballinger) is living the YouTube dream, having shot to stardom after launching her video series in 2009. Miranda is currently preparing for a week of West End performances from September 9-14 at the Leicester Square Theatre.
In anticipation of her trip across the Atlantic, she has partnered with WhatsOnStage.com to launch a contest that challenges West End lovers to “out-Miranda Miranda.” Entrants are asked to submit videos of themselves doing their best worst renditions of their favorite West End show tunes. The winner will be offered a pair of tickets to Miranda’s September 13 performance (yes, that is Friday the 13th) and will have a chance to sing a duet with Miranda herself live onstage.
