Arena Stage Announces Casting for Native Gardens

The four lead actors in the ongoing Guthrie Theater run of Karen Zacarías’s comedy will reprise their roles in the Washington, D.C., premiere.

Arena Stage has announced the casting for its upcoming production of Native Gardens, which will run September 15-October 22.

Making their Arena Stage debuts, Jacqueline Correa, Dan Domingues, Steve Hendrickson, and Sally Wingert will reprise their roles in the current Guthrie Theater production of Karen Zacarías's comedy for the upcoming Washington, D.C., premiere. Joining the company for the D.C. run are Guadalupe Campos, Oscar Ceville, Javier del Pilar, and Christopher Rios.

Directed by Blake Robison, the creative team includes Joseph Tilford (scenic designer), Kara Harmon (costume designer), Xavier Pierce (lighting designer), Scott W. Edwards (sound designer), Jo Holcomb (dramaturg), and Anita Maynard-Losh (vocal coach).

In Native Gardens, "neighborly rivalry escalates into an all-out border dispute."
