Joshua Harmon’s comedy begins performances tonight.
Bad Jews starts its second run at Studio Theatre this evening.
The story centers on three cousins reunited after their grandfather’s funeral. Daphna is a self-assured and unstoppable "Super Jew," Liam is her stubborn and entitled secular cousin, and Jonah, Liam’s brother, is somewhere in the middle trying to dodge the drama. At stake in their verbal battle royale is a priceless family heirloom.
Harmon’s show is directed by Serge Seiden and features Laura Lapidus as Daphna, Rowan Vickers as Jonah, Noah Averbach-Katz as Liam, and Maggie Wilder as Melody.
The creative team includes Luciana Stecconi (set design), Kelsey Hunt (costume design), Daniel MacLean Wagner (lighting design), Palmer Hefferan (sound design), Adrien-Alice Hansel (dramaturg), and John Keith Hall (stage manager).
Performances will run through January 3.
