The Metropolitan Room is set to present musician Barb Jungr in her all-Bob Dylan show Man in the Long Black Coat, April 10-28.
Jungr’s first New York show devoted entirely to Dylan, Man in the Long Black Coat, like Jungr’s other work, is an eye-opening deconstruction of songs.
By stripping songwriters’ of their recorded accoutrements, Jungr proves that many rockers are not a breed apart from predecessors like Gershwin, Kern, Mercer, and Berlin.
