The two free concerts will be presented as part of the Bay Street Under the Stars series.
Bay Street Theater's Bay Street Under the Stars series will include two free concerts in Mashashimuet Park this summer as Bay Street presents Kiss Me, Kate on August 25 and 26. Entry to the concert events is free and no tickets are required. Guests are welcome to bring chairs, blankets, and picnics.
The concerts will star Tony Award nominee Melissa Errico (Irving Berlin's White Christmas) and the Metropolitan Opera's Richard Troxell. Featuring a score by Cole Porter and a book by Samuel and Bella Spewack, Kiss Me, Kate tells the story of two larger-than-life actors, Lilli Vanessi and Frederick C. Graham, battling in life and love during a production of The Taming of the Shrew.
