Berkeley Repertory Theatre has announced that David Henry Hwang’s Chinglish has been extended for two weeks and will now play through October 21. Leigh Silverman directs the production.
Chinglish is the story of an American businessman who heads to Asia to score a lucrative contract for his family’s firm. But the deal isn’t the only thing getting lost in translation.
The show, which is a co-production with South Coast Repertory, features Vivian Chiu, Celeste Den, Michelle Krusiec, Austin Ku, Alex Moggridge, Brian Nishii, and Larry Lei Zhang.
