Second Stage Theatre has announced the cast for its production of Quiara Alegría Hudes’ 2012 Pulitzer Prize-winning play Water by the Spoonful, to run December 11-January 8. Davis McCallum will direct.
The play concerns Elliot, who returns home to Philadelphia to reconnect with his Puerto Rican family after his time spent serving in Iraq, only to find his family in flux and his career prospects limited.
The cast will feature Liza Colon-Zayas, Frankie R. Faison, Zabryna Guevara, Bill Heck, Sue Jean Kim, and Armando Riesco.
The design team will include Neil Patel (set design), ESosa (costume design), Russell Champa (lighting design), Josh Schmidt (sound design), and Aaron Rhyne (projection design).
