Brown will join the cast following her run in Broadway’s ”The Parisian Woman”.
Second Stage Theater has announced that Tony Award winner Blair Brown will join the previously announced Emma Geer, Tatiana Maslany, and Susan Pourfar in the New York premiere of Tracy Letts's Mary Page Marlowe, directed by Lila Neugebauer. The off-Broadway production will begin previews June 19 and open on July 12 at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theater.
Brown, who comes to the cast following her current stint in Broadway's The Parisian Woman, joins Geer, Maslany, and Pourfar in portraying the title character, a seemingly ordinary accountant from Ohio, at different points in her life. Brown originated her role in the world premiere Steppenwolf production in 2016. Full casting will be announced shortly.
The production will feature scenic design by Laura Jellinek, costume design by Kaye Voyce, lighting design by Tyler Micoleau, and sound design by Brandon Wolcott.
