The Tony Awards Administration Committee has handed down their first decisions on the eligibility for 2012-2013 season shows.

They are recognizing Rob McClure in the category of Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical for playing the title role in Chaplin, and Boyd Gaines is being considered in the lead category for the revival of An Enemy of the People.

Meanwhile, both Taylor Louderman and Adrienne Warren will each be considered eligible in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical category for their performances in Bring It On: The Musical.

Jessica Hecht and Charles Kimbrough will be considered eligible in the Best Performance by an Actress/Actor in a Featured Role in a Play categories for their respective performances in Harvey.

For anyone who has seen the plays and musicals in question, these may seem like very obvious decisions. But the Tony Awards default to looking at how an actor is billed in a production which might not match up with the size of their role.

All other eligibility determinations for these four shows are consistent with the opening night credits.
