Broadway's Chicago will welcome a slate of new and returning cast members to the production at the Ambassador Theatre.

Beginning tonight, August 15, Lana Gordon (The Lion King) will take on the role of Velma Kelly. On August 25, Jason Danieley (An American Daughter) will rejoin the show as Billy Flynn, taking over the role from Tom Hewitt, who departs the company on August 23. NaTasha Yvette Williams will return to the role of Matron "Mama" Morton on September 5, taking over for Roz Ryan, who leaves on September 4. Bianca Marroquín currently plays Roxie Hart, alongside Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart, and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.

Featuring classic tunes by John Kander and Fred Ebb, Chicago tells the story of Roxie Hart, a nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media, and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago's slickest criminal lawyer to transform her crime into a barrage of sensational headlines. The revival is directed by Walter Bobbie.
