The Tony-winning play is written by Simon Stephens.
The Broadway production of Simon Stephens' The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time celebrated its 500th performance on Wednesday, December 16. The show opened at the Barrymore Theatre on October 5, 2014.
Adapted from Mark Haddon's best-selling novel, and directed by Tony Award winner Marianne Elliott, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time tells the story of 15-year-old Christopher, who is exceptionally intelligent but ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. When he falls under suspicion for killing his neighbor's dog, he sets out on a journey to identify the true culprit. The principal company includes Tyler Lea in the role of Christopher, with Rosie Benton as Siobhan, Andrew Long as Ed, Nancy Robinette as Mrs. Alexander, and Benjamin Wheelwright as Christopher at certain performances.
