Theresa Rebeck’s family comedy Dead Accounts will now begin previews at the Music Box Theatre on Monday November 5, instead of Saturday, November 3, due to complications from Hurricane Sandy.
The show, directed by Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien, will still officially open on November 29.
As previously reported, Norbert Leo Butz and Katie Holmes lead the cast, which also includes Judy Greer, Josh Hamilton, and Jayne Houdyshell.
The production will feature scenic design by David Rockwell, costume design by Catherine Zuber, lighting design by David Weiner, and sound design/original music by Mark Bennett.
Patrons inconvenienced by the canceled performance will receive a coupon for a free pint of Graeter’s redeemable at any New York D’Agostino’s supermarket. To claim the coupon for the free pint, patrons should present their Saturday, November 3 ticket (or e-ticket receipt) at the Music Box Theatre Box Office starting Thursday, November 1 after 2PM. Coupons can be claimed anytime until November 30 or while supplies last.
In order to reschedule tickets for the canceled performance, ticket holders should return to their original point of sale.
