Broadway's Hamilton to Offer Special Performance Benefiting The Actors Fund

Broadway's Hamilton will offer a special performance on November 6 at 7 pm to benefit the programs and services of The Actors Fund, a national human services organization that helps everyone who works in performing arts and entertainment.

Directed by Thomas Kail and inspired by Ron Chernow's biography Alexander Hamilton, Hamilton explores the life of the American founding father and first Secretary of the Treasury, as well as his experiences as an orphan of the British West Indies who immigrated to the 13 Colonies and helped shape the United States of America. The show had its world premiere at the Public Theater and runs on Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.

Hamilton currently stars Javier Muñoz (Alexander Hamilton), Mandy Gonzalez (Angelica Schuyler), Lexi Lawson (Eliza Hamilton), Christopher Jackson (George Washington), Seth Stewart (Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson), Anthony Ramos (John Laurens, Phillip Hamilton), Okieriete Onaodowan (Hercules Mulligan, James Madison), and Jasmine Cephas Jones (Peggy Shuyler, Maria Reynolds).

Hamilton features Tony-winning choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, as well as Tony-winning orchestrations, costumes, and lighting design by Alex Lacamoire, Paul Tazewell, and Howell Binkley. The set is designed by Tony nominee David Korins.
