The Broadway comedy It's Only a Play, which opened on October 9 at the Schoenfeld Theatre, has extended its run again, this time through June 7. Originally announced as a limited engagement through January 4, It's Only a Play was recently extended through March 29 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.

The Terrence McNally comedy follows a company of actors, producers, and the like at the after-party of a Broadway opening night. The production recently welcomed Martin Short, Katie Finneran, and Maulik Pancholy to the cast. They join original cast members F. Murray Abraham, Matthew Broderick, Stockard Channing, and Micah Stock. Jack O’Brien directs.

Originally, the cast also featured Nathan Lane, Rupert Grint, and Megan Mullally.

The design team for It’s Only a Play includes scenic design by Scott Pask, costume design by Academy Award and Tony winner Ann Roth, lighting design by Philip Rosenberg, and sound design by Fitz Patton.
