The Broadway production of Matilda The Musical is celebrating its second anniversary this weekend, and to toast the occasion, in the theme of the traditional second anniversary gift, the cast and crew recently got together for a cotton candy party onstage at the Shubert Theatre.

Based on Roald Dahl's popular children's book, Matilda opened April 11, 2013, and earned five Tony Awards. The cast currently features Christopher Sieber as Miss Trunchbull, Alison Luff as Miss Honey, Lesli Margherita as Mrs. Wormwood, and Matt Harrington as Mr. Wormwood, with Tori Feinstein, Eliza Holland Madore, Brooklyn Shuck, and Fina Strazza sharing the title role. Matthew Warchus directs the production, which originated at the Royal Shakespeare Company and features a score by Tim Minchin and a book by Dennis Kelly.
