Broadway’s The Performers to Close on Sunday, November 18 after 7 Performances

The Broadway production of David West Read’s The Performers will end its run at the Longacre Theatre on Sunday, November 18 after 23 previews and 7 performances.

Directed by Evan Cabnet, the romantic comedy is set on the night of the Adult Film Awards in Las Vegas and follows the exploits of journalist Lee (played by Daniel Breaker), who has traveled to Sin City for an interview with his old high school pal Mandrew (Cheyenne Jackson), now a rising adult film star.

The company also includes Alicia Silverstone, Ari Graynor, Jenni Barber, and Henry Winkler.

The show’s creative team includes Anna Louizos (scenic design), Jessica Wegener Shay (costume design), Jeff Croiter (lighting design), Nevin Steinberg (sound design), Richard DiBella (projection design), Charles G. LaPointe (hair and wig design), and Julian Fleisher (composer).
