The hit West End revival of David Hare's drama Skylight will come to Broadway's John Golden Theatre this spring with its full cast, led by Carey Mulligan and Bill Nighy. Directed by Stephen Daldry, the production begins previews March 16, with opening night set for April 2 and a closing date set for June 14.

Mulligan, an Academy Award nominee for the film An Education, plays Kyra Hollis, a London schoolteacher who, on a wintry evening, receives a visit from her former lover, restaurateur Tom Sergeant (Nighy), whose wife has recently died. As they attempt to rekindle their relationship, they must contend with conflicting ideologies that stand in the way. Matthew Beard completes the cast as Tom's college-age son, Edward.

Skylight features scenic and costume design by Bob Crowley, lighting design by Natasha Katz, sound design by Paul Arditti, and original music by Paul Englishby.

Beard makes his Broadway debut with the production, which recently ended a sold-out run at London's Wyndham's Theatre this summer. Mulligan returns to Broadway for the first time since 2008's The Seagull. Nighy made his Broadway debut in Hare's The Vertical Hour in 2006.
