Nominations for the 63rd Annual Drama Desk Awards were announced this morning at Feinstein's / 54 Below by Jane Krakowski (She Loves Me, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) and Tituss Burgess (Guys and Dolls, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt). The announcement was streamed live on TheaterMania.

The nominees were selected from the 2017-18 season of Broadway, off-Broadway, and off-off-Broadway productions. The Broadway revival of Carousel topped the list with 12 nominations, closely followed by SpongeBob SquarePants with 11 and Mean Girls with 10. The Band's Visit, which earned three Drama Desk Awards last year for its off-Broadway run, was deemed eligible only for the elements that constituted new work in its current Broadway mounting.
